Solving common issues with the DA2

If you experience an issue when using the DA2, try solving the issue using these tips:

Issue Try doing the following:

DA2 does not power on.

  • Make sure you power on the USB power source before you attempt to power on the DA2 receiver.

  • Make sure the USB power source is charged.

  • Check the USB power cable is not damaged, is free from obstructions or debris, and had not come loose.

  • If you are using a phone or tablet, your device may not support USB-OTG or power delivery. Check the specifications for your device, or try a different device.

Pressing and holding the Power button on the bottom of the DA2 receiver to power it on or off resets the receiver and clears any Bluetooth pairings with any devices used with DA2.
  • Press and release the Power button; to avoid clearing stored Bluetooth device settings, do not press-hold for more than five (5) seconds.

DA2 does not connect to the device.

  • Make sure that your device has Bluetooth turned on.

  • Try resetting the DA2.

  • Try forgetting the DA2 in your device Bluetooth settings, and then creating a new Bluetooth connection to the DA2.

  • Check that another Bluetooth device is not already connected to the DA2.

Your app is not able to connect to the DA2 receiver.

  • Check that another app is not already connected to the DA2. Close all other apps on your device that may be connected to the receiver.

  • Check that Bluetooth is enabled on the device, and that the device is connected to the DA2 in the device Bluetooth screen.

DA2 is not generating high accuracy positions.

  • Check that you have a current and valid Catalyst subscription.

  • Check that the correction source is correctly configured and available.

  • If you are using corrections delivered using the internet, make sure that the device has an active internet connection, and that your account details have been entered correctly.

DA2 Power LED is showing an error (red flash).

  • The power supply voltage may be too high or too low. Try a different power source.

  • The internal temperature of the DA2 may be too hot. Try leaving the DA2 in a shaded area to cool down before trying to power on the DA2 again.
