Use Trimble License Manager to assign Catalyst subscriptions to members of your team.

After purchasing your Catalyst subscription, use Trimble License Manager to:

  • activate and manage your account

  • accept the Trimble Catalyst Terms of Service

  • assign subscriptions to team members

  • manage who has access to your Trimble Catalyst On Demand pool

Only account administrators can manage who has access to the Catalyst subscription or the Catalyst On Demand pool. As the account owner, you must accept the Trimble Catalyst Terms of Service before anyone in your organization can use the service. You can do this by signing in to Trimble License Manager. Use Trimble License Manager to manage the assignment of users to each license in your Catalyst account, or to your Catalyst On Demand pool:

  • Users can be assigned a license and unassigned as required, enabling total flexibility over who can use the service during the service period of your subscription.

  • An unlimited number of users can be assigned to your Catalyst On Demand account, and unassigned as required, enabling total flexibility over who can use the service.

When you assign a subscription to a team member, or you add a team member to a Catalyst On Demand pool, the team member is assigned a Catalyst license. The license is downloaded to the device when the team member signs in to Trimble Mobile Manager or their Trimble field software using their Trimble Identity.

Fixed time period subscriptions are managed as subscription blocks in Trimble License Manager. A subscription block is a group of licenses for the same product that were purchased at the same time and with the same service duration (one month, multiple months, or one year). A subscription block can consist of different service level types. When you activate the subscription, Trimble sets the start and end date of the entire subscription block based on the service duration purchased. Subscription blocks self-activate after 90 days.

When you sign in to Trimble Mobile Manager or your Trimble field software using your Trimble Identity, the Catalyst license assigned to you is downloaded to the device.

Use the Trimble Mobile Manager app to:

  • View Catalyst licenses assigned to you
  • View the Catalyst On Demand accounts you have access to
  • Start a new on-demand session
