Activating the subscription block

Activation does not apply to Trimble Business Center subscription blocks, which are activated at the time of purchase.

Before you can use a subscription block, you must activate the subscription block. When you activate the subscription, Trimble sets the start and end date of the entire subscription block based on the service duration purchased.

Any users who are assigned (or reassigned) a license after the subscription is activated will be sent a Welcome email as soon as the subscription block is activated or as soon as the user is assigned a license. The Welcome email contains instructions on how to get started.

You have ninety (90) days to manually activate your subscription from the date of purchase from your Trimble distributor. If you have not activated your subscription after ninety days, your subscription will self-activate and your service term will begin. To avoid wasting days in your monthly subscription, do not purchase a subscription block farther than 90 days in advance of intended use, and only activate subscription blocks when you are ready to begin using the service.

To activate a subscription block:

  1. Click Visit Trimble License Manager in the purchase confirmation email you received from Trimble, or go to license-manager.trimble.com.
  2. Sign in to Trimble License Manager with your Trimble Identity details. The tile for the subscription block you purchased is shown in the Licenses tab.

  3. Before activating a subscription block, you must have read and agreed to the product Terms of Service. Click the Please accept the terms before activation link and read through the terms. Select the I accept terms of service check box and click OK.

  4. To activate the subscription block, click ACTIVATE in the product subscription tile.

    Trimble License Manager displays a message that all licenses in the chosen block will be activated at the same time.

  5. Click ACTIVATE.
