USB device not recognized

Problem

When connecting the camera an error occurs:

USB Device not recognized

Solution

The LadyBug5 camera must be powered up in a particular sequence:

  1. Power up the laptop.
  2. Power up the MX2.
  3. Connect LadyBug5 USB to laptop (Wait for steady amber LED).
  4. Power up LadyBug5 with PSU.
  5. Check imagery in Capture Pro.

Problem Details

It was found that this error was seen on the CF-54 test Laptop and with a Getac B300 laptop. This points to the problem being with Renishaw’s specific test camera.
