Error: Cannot connect the pins together

Problem

The camera does not show in Trident capture and you get an error in the log Cannot connect the pins together. The following is the error reported by Microsoft: 80040217 - No combination of intermediate filters could be found to establish the connection.

Solution

This can be solved by doing the following:

1. Uninstall Trident Capture.
2. Uninstall any Trident products.
3. Uninstall any Trimble Coordinate Manager.
4. Uninstall any LadyBugSDK.
5. Uninstall any FlyCap.
6. Install the latest build of Trident Capture (v7.0.4 build 208).
