Error: No navigation data available

Problem

When recording is started, the error message appears:

There is currently no navigation data available. Please set up a connection with the GNSS receiver first.

Solution

Make sure that:

  • The POS is initialized (computing position, orientation and RMS) and connected to the network.
  • The POS IP address is set to 128.2.0.203 and that Trident Capture MX2 > GPS is also set to look at this IP address.
  • In LV POSView > Ethernet Logging, Group 1 Output Rate is >2 Hz (recommended: 20 Hz; 50 Hz if not using POSPac).
  • The Patch for Trident Capture MX2 is installed.
