MX50 FAQ

The MX50 should not be used with just one car battery.
In an emergency, you can help yourself with a suitable single battery, which is charged in parallel by a charger.
There are very big differences in the batteries. The most suitable is a battery that was designed for a diesel (high amp / h values approx. 100) with automatic start / stop. These have a low internal resistance and don’t break down in the starting phase of the MX50.

To clean the exit glass, please first blow off any coarse dirt with air. Then clean fingerprints or other dirt, with a normal glass cleaner (as for windows) and finally clean again with acetone and paper towels.

In some cases stickers have been placed on the sides of the disk that slide inside the MX50 Control Unit, and it led to the damage to the release button of the MX50 Control Unit. To avoid this problem, see this support bulletin: How to properly mark and label MX9 SSD disks.
