MX50: Error shows "Not enough remaining disk space"

Problem

When collecting data, you get an error "Not enough remaining disk space" even though there should be enough space on the disk.

Solution

This is caused by a bad connection between the SSD and the disk bay. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Reconnect disks.

  2. Format disks to NTFS (take backup of all data).

  3. If the issue persists, try to swap the disks and see if the issue is following one disk or one disk bay. Report the findings to Trimble support team.

Problem Details

The disk space visualization might show red for one of the disks, although fill percentage is not 100%. In addition, at some point the disk might be shown as N/A, not detected.
