No DMI pulses nor any distance increments

Problem

DMI status in POSView is ZUPD or OK but there are no pulses nor distance increments.

Tighten the screw between the DMI plate and encoder.

It might be that the DMI plate is rotating but the shaft is not touching the encoder properly, hence not rotating the encoder wheel.
