All activations have been exhausted for this entitlement

Problem

Case 1

In the POSPac Software License Utility, you had an active license, but now there are no more activated licenses, and when you try to reactivate your license with your entitlement ID, this message appears:

All activations have been exhausted for this entitlement.

Case 2

You deactivate a license, try to activate it again and then this message appears:

All activations have been exhausted for this entitlement.

Solution

Case 1

  • In the Services window, scroll down to Sentinel RMS License Manager and, depending on the option available, start or restart the service.

  • If Sentinel RMS License Manager is not listed, reinstall the POSPac Software License Utility.

  • If your license was activated on another computer, try to find out which computer and de-activate it from there so you can activate it on your current computer.

Case 2

  • You may have used the wrong EID to reactivate the license. Note that the EID changes whenever the license is updated. Before deactivating, you should always copy the EID(s) from the Software License Utility. To resolve this you will need to contact imaging_support@trimble.com.
