Error when importing MXDB in TBC

Problem

When importing the MXDB to Trimble Business Center, the software gives the following error message:

Error while trying to import "path/TMX9XXXXXX.mxdb"

Solution

Instead of dragging and dropping the MXDB into TBC, use the Import dialog in the Home ribbon to import your mission.

Problem Details

This error occurs when TBC cannot parse the MXDB via drag/drop. In some cases, running TBC as administrator might help but Trimble recommends importing data using the Import dialog.
