TMI Error 10270: System Hardware check failed

Problem

Mission fails to start in Trimble Mobile Imaging, and this message appears:

System Hardware check failed. Please restart the system and try again - or contact support. Faulting module: Core_1 Msg Id: 10270

Solution

  1. Inspect the Control-Unit-to-Sensor-Unit (ODU) Cable and the connectors. Make sure all the pins are straight.
  2. Reconnect the cable, power up the system and try starting a mission.
  3. If the error persists, please contact support.

Problem Details

The error may be caused by insufficient network speed in the main computer of the Control Unit (100 Mbps instead of 1 Gbps). This may occur because of a bad connection with the ODU cable, or because of an internal problem in the Control Unit.
