Trimble Installation Manager for Windows enables you to easily:
- Install and update supported Trimble® software to a Windows® device
- Update supported Trimble GNSS receivers
- Update supported Trimble instrument firmware
To install Trimble Installation Manager for Windows
To install Trimble Installation Manager for Windows:
- Go to install.trimble.com and select the TIM for Windows tab.
- Scroll down to the Installing the Trimble Installation Manager section and click the link to download the installation file to your computer. Most users should select the Online link to download the version of the software that connects to the Internet.
- Double-click the installation file to install it.
The Trimble Installation Manager for Windows software can be installed on a desktop computer, tablet or Trimble controller running the Windows operating system.
The Trimble Installation Manager for Windows software cannot be installed to a Trimble controller running the Windows CE or Windows Mobile® operating system. You can, however, connect a Trimble controller running the Windows CE or Windows Mobile operating system to a desktop computer or tablet that has Trimble Installation Manager for Windows installed and then install or update supported Trimble software on the controller.
To run the Installation Manager
To run Trimble Installation Manager on the controller, tap the Search icon in the Windows task bar and enter Install. Tap Trimble Installation Manager in the search results to open the Trimble Installation Manager. When you run the software, it updates itself automatically with the latest changes and software releases.
