Viewing and selecting features

The selection tools at the top of the map provide different ways to select features on the map.

Use the Select tool to select a single feature.
Use the Select area tool to draw a box around features you want to select.
Use the Select polygon tool to draw a free-form polygon around features you want to select.

To hide some data layers so that it is easier to select only the features you are interested in, click at the left of the map to open the Data list and then click the Visibility icon next to a layer to hide the layer in the map. To zoom the map to show all the data in a layer, right‑click a layer name and select Zoom to layer.

Once you have selected features, you can:

Click to create a task and assign it to a TerraFlex user.
Click to export features from the project.

Viewing specific features using a filter

You can use filters to show only the features you want to see in the map.

Click at the left of the map to open the Filters window.
Use the fields and check boxes in the Filters window to select only the features you are interested in:
- To show only features that were modified during a specific period, select the relevant dates in the Date modified group.
- To show only features that were modified by a specific user or users, click inside the Modified By field and start entering the user name. When the correct name pops up, click the name to select it. Keep entering and selecting user names until you have added all of the relevant users.
- To show features that have been Exported, Not exported, or Imported, select the relevant check box.
- If you have enabled Offline GNSS Corrections, select the appropriate Status check box or check boxes to show only those features you are interested in. Select from Not Processed, Processed, Queued, or Failed.
