Signing in to TerraFlex

You are prompted to sign in to the TerraFlex software every 30 days, unless you have previously signed out.

If you do not have a Trimble Identity, you can create one during the sign in process. Alternatively, you can sign in with an existing Google account or an existing Apple account.

To try out the TerraFlex software without first creating a Trimble Identity, tap Try It on the Sign In screen to sign into an existing account where predefined forms can be viewed and collected.

  1. When you run the TerraFlex software, if you are prompted to sign in:

    • On an Android or Windows device, tap Sign In.

    • On an iOS device, tap Continue.

    The Trimble Identity page opens in your browser.

    If you do not have a Trimble ID, tap Create an account to create one. Alternatively, tap Sign in with Google to sign in with an existing Google account, or click Sign in with Apple to sign in with an existing Apple account.

  2. Enter your username.

    Your username is the email address you used when you set up your Trimble Identity.

  3. Tap Next.

  4. Enter your password.

    To see the characters you are entering into the Password field, tap .

    If you have forgotten your password, tap Forgot password?

  5. Tap Sign in.

  6. If you have enabled Multi-Factor Authentication for your Trimble Identity account, you are prompted to enter the verification code that you have chosen to receive via SMS or via an authentication app such as Google Authenticator.

  7. The authentication successful message appears in your browser. You can close the browser tab and return to the TerraFlex software.

To exit the app without signing out, tap the x in the top corner of the TerraFlex app.

By exiting the app without signing out, you will be prompted to sign in only every 30 days rather than each time you run the software.

Because signing in requires an internet connection, Trimble recommends that where possible you exit the app without signing out to avoid being unable to sign in when out in the field.

If you choose to sign out of the TerraFlex software, you can no longer use the software and you cannot sign in without an internet connection. To avoid being unable to sign in Trimble recommends you exit the app without signing out.

To sign out of your account, tap and tap your user name. When the message Do you want to sign out? appears, tap YES.
