To measure continuous topo points

Use the Continuous topo measurement method to measure points continuously, for example a line of points at a fixed interval.

  1. Tap and select Measure / Continuous topo.
  2. Enter the Start point name. The point name increments automatically.

  3. Enter a value in the Target height field.
  4. Select the method using the steps below

  • If you are using a GNSS receiver with a built-in tilt sensor and Tilt warnings are enabled, you cannot measure a point until the receiver is within the defined tilt tolerance.
  • If you are using a Trimble total station continuous topo uses only synchronous angles and distances. If the instrument:
    • Has a tracklight that has been enabled, the tracklight is disabled for 2 seconds when the measured point has been stored.
    • Is a FOCUS 30/35 instrument with laser blinking enabled, laser blinking is temporarily disabled when using Continuous topo.
