To select a third-party total station

In addition to supported Trimble instruments, you can carry out a conventional survey when connected to a total station made by one of the following manufacturers:

• Leica
• Nikon
• Pentax
• Sokkia
• Spectra Geospatial
• Topcon
• Zeiss

When using third-party instruments, you must disable auto‑connect. Some commands used by auto‑connect can interfere with the communication of non‑Trimble instruments. See Auto‑connect options.

To key in measurements, select Manual in the Manufacturer field of the survey style.
