To copy job files
To copy jobs or to copy items between jobs, tap and select Job, and then tap Copy. The Copy screen appears.
In portrait mode, swipe right to left along the row of softkeys to view the Copy softkey.
You can copy jobs into or out of the project folder or from one folder to another folder inside the project folder. All files associated with the job, including files that were collected during the survey (for example, image files) are copied at the same time.
The Copy function is especially useful when copying job files to a USB drive so that you can transfer jobs from one controller to another.
You can copy jobs from version 2017.00 and later when running on a Windows device
To avoid data synchronization issues, do not copy jobs downloaded from Trimble Connect to a different folder.
When copying job files, you can choose to copy the following types of additional files:
- Coordinate system files
- Linked files
- Media files
- Feature library files
- Road or tunnel files
- Exported files
To include design definition files used for road or alignment staking and for tunnel scans, setout, or point in tunnel measurements when copying job files, select the Copy road files, Copy tunnel files or Copy exported files options.
Broadcast RTCM transformation (RTD) files associated with the job are not copied with the job. Users of RTD files should ensure the grid file on the controller that the data is being copied to contains grid data that covers the area of the copied job.
