Current position information
If the controller is connected to a GNSS receiver, or you are using a controller with internal GPS, you can view or quickly store the current position of the receiver without having to start a survey. This is especially useful for storing waypoints so that you can easily return to locations of interest.
When using a controller with internal GPS, a connected GNSS receiver is always used in preference to the internal GPS.
To view the current position of the receiver
-
Tap the receiver icon in the status bar and select Position.
-
If the antenna height is defined, the software calculates the position of the pole tip.
-
If a GNSS receiver with a built‑in tilt sensor is being used, the current tilt distance is shown.
The Position screen does not apply the tilt correction to positions, therefore the position displayed is the uncorrected position.
-
The position is shown in the coordinates selected in the Coordinate view field.
