Transfer receiver files

If the controller is connected to a receiver that supports the transfer of receiver files, you can transfer files to and from the controller to the receiver.

The Import from receiver option is available when a Trimble GNSS receiver is in use. Use it to delete files in the connected receiver, or to copy files from the connected receiver to the controller.

 

  • To access the external memory of a receiver that supports both internal and external memory, tap on the Parent folder from the Internal directory and then tap on External.
  • You cannot restore deleted receiver files.

The Export to receiver option is available when a Trimble GNSS receiver is in use that has a compact flash card inserted. Use it to copy files from the controller to the connected receiver.

You can transfer files only to and from the current project folder on the controller.

  1. Tap and select Instrument / Receiver files / Import from receiver.

    All files stored in the receiver are shown.

  2. Tap the file(s) to transfer.

    To see more information about a file, select it and tap Info. To delete a file, select it and tap Delete. To select all files in the current directory, tap All.

  3. Tap Import. The Copy file to Trimble Controller screen appears.
  4. Tap Start.

  1. Tap and select Instrument / Receiver files / Export to receiver.

    All files in the current project folder on the controller are shown.

  2. Tap the file(s) to transfer.
  3. Tap Export.
  4. Tap Start.
