Tracklight

The tracklight is a visible light that guides the prism operator on the correct bearing. It is not available when connected to an instrument equipped with a camera, a high power laser pointer or long range FineLock technology.

When storing a point measured with DR mode, the tracklight and the laser blink for the number of times set in the Blink laser field of the EDM settings screen. See EDM settings.

To turn on or turn off the tracklight:

  1. Tap the Instrument icon in the status bar to open the Instrument functions screen.

  2. Tap Tracklight.

To set the speed of the tracklight:

  1. Tap and hold the Tracklight button in the Instrument functions screen.
  2. Select the Enable tracklight check box.

  3. In the Speed field, select the required speed.

    When Auto is selected, the Tracklight flashes fast when the target is locked and slow if there is no target.
