Installing Terra Office add-in for ArcMap

The standard InstallShield installation package can be downloaded from here; it includes everything necessary to run the add-in. Once downloaded, double-click the installation package to begin the installation.

Trimble also provides two optional components for download at the same download link. These can be installed either before or after the primary add-in. In both cases, you will download the installer, and double-click the installation package to begin.

• SQLite ODBC database driver. For users who expect to create a large number of projects or process a large amount of data through Trimble Terra Office add-in for ArcMap, it is recommended that they download and install this driver. Then, when creating the initial database configuration for the add-in (see Configuring the add-in section), they should pick the SQLite database configuration option. This should provide better performance and file size management.

• TerraSync tools. For users of TerraSync workflows who need additional access to the classic set of utilities previously available through GPS Pathfinder office, this installer can be used to install those utilities. Once installed, the utilities can also be launched from the Trimble TerraSync toolbar included with Trimble Terra Office add-in for ArcMap.
