To compute the center point of a surface

You can compute the center point of a surface in an IFC file. This is useful to find the center point of a bolt or cylinder so you can then stake it out.

1. In the map, tap the surface to select it.

2. Tap and hold in the map and select Compute center point.

   The coordinates for the computed point are shown.

3. Enter the Point name.

4. If required, enter the code for the point in the Code field.

5. Tap Store.
