To configure an Internet data link

  1. Configure a connection to the Internet. See Internet connection setup.
  2. Tap and select Settings / Survey styles. Select the required survey style. Tap Edit.
  3. If you are setting up the data link for the:
    • rover receiver, select Rover data link.
    • base receiver, select Base data link.
  4. Set the Type field to Internet connection.

  5. In the GNSS contact field:

    • If you have already configured the GNSS contact to use for the dial-in data link, enter the GNSS contact name for the contact, or tap to select the GNSS contact from the GNSS Contacts list. The list is filtered according to the contact type.

    • To create a new GNSS contact, tap to open the GNSS Contacts screen and then tap New.

  6. To display the GNSS contact that is configured in the survey style, or to be able to change the GNSS contact when you start the survey, select the Prompt for GNSS contact check box.

  7. Tap Accept.
