Reviewing item properties in the map

To review information for items in the map, select the items in the map and then tap Review. If you selected more than one item, select it from the list and tap Details.

From the Trimble Access map you can review properties for points, lines and polygons in the job or in linked map files, as well as items from some web map services.

Managing properties

Properties for items in a linked map file are shown in expandable and collapsible groups. To quickly expand or collapse all groups, press Ctrl + Space, or press Ctrl when you tap one of the expand or collapse icons.

To select favorite properties, tap the next to one or more properties and then tap Refresh to copy the selected properties and their group names to the Favorite properties group at the top of the properties list.

Favorite properties must be selected per controller. Once you have added a favorite property, the property always appears in the Favorite properties group if that property is used for the selected item in any linked map file.

To remove a property from the Favorite properties group, tap the next to the property in the Favorite properties group and then tap Refresh.

Properties in linked files

Properties in linked files are read-only and cannot be edited.

When you use an item from a linked map file in the Trimble Access software, for example in a Cogo calculation, during stakeout, or to create a point in the job, Trimble Access copies the properties of the item from the linked map file and stores them as read-only properties with the point or line in the Trimble Access job.

BIM model property sets

Properties in custom property sets that have been added to the BIM model in Trimble Connect can be viewed and edited for the items selected in the map in the Review screen. For more information, see Reviewing custom property sets.
