Conventional survey measure methods

To measure points using data from the connected conventional instrument, complete the station setup and then tap and select Measure and then select the measurement method to use:

  • Use Measure topo to measure a topographic point.
  • Use Measure codes to measure and code observations in one step.
  • Use Measure rounds to measure multiple sets of observations.
  • Use Measure to surface to calculate and store the closest distance from the measured point to the selected surface.
  • Use Measure points on a plane to define a plane and then measure points relative to the plane.
  • Use Measure 3D axes to measure a point relative to a 3D axis.
  • Use Continuous topo to measure a line of points at a fixed interval.
  • Use Scanning to digitally capture the shape of physical objects using a total station that has Trimble VISION technology.
  • Use Surface scanning to define a surface and then scan points on the surface.
